We @ Summit Community Church have what we call ROCC rally on the last Tuesday of every month. ROCC stands for Renewing Our Climbing Companions. We are able to gather @ Christian High School and worship together and dig into God's word together. Some of you students don't ever come to this and I think you would enjoy it if you did. Granted last night's wasn't the most exciting of all times because we talked about the budget for next year. However we still had good time as you can see by the look on adam's face. I can tell he is thinking to himself..."yeehawski me loves to look over the budget!" then I can imagine him doing a herkey (see link to imagine it too) in overwhelming excitement. Really, we do have a good time at ROCC rally. AND another reason for you peeps to come is that you would be more educated about the life of your church. ...and... I would really like to hang out with you one more day in a week. ALL THAT TO SAY I missed those of you who weren't there last night and also I really enjoyed seeing those of you who were. Have a great day. REMEMBER, we don't have NORTHFACE tonight.

WE WILL BE PLAYING DISC GOLF SATURDAY @ 10am @ Quail Ridge and then a few of us are going to go try out the new course on CAVE SPRINGS afterwards. Come hang out with us. You should have seen MEO and Kasey play Monday. It really was cause to call that day "President's day" Hail to the presidents of disc golf...MEO and Kasey....Nice par on 18. I am not sure about this but i think out of the ten or so that played monday only 2 people parred hole 18...Bam and Kasey. Yeehawski! Let's see who can get better this saturday.

We will be heading to Nashville, Tennessee April 1st @ noon and returning Saturday the 2nd around 7pm. We will be staying at a motel in Nashville around the church where the conference is being held-Brentwood Baptist Church.
Worship leader- Shane and Shane
Tour speaker- David Nasser
Cost- $100 This will cover transportation(15 passenger van), rooming, and conference.

It's a new week! Happy Valentine's Day

Well I am hoping all of you were able to get out of bed this morning and spend some time with Jesus before you headed off to wherever you were headed. This is an either love it or hate it kind of day. VALENTINE'S day. I grew up hating it. "BOOOOOOO!", I would scream to myself as i saw all the stupid little candy heart's and chocolate roses, and blah blah blah. Now I am married and I still don't love this commercial holiday, but I do enjoy being with my wife so I guess it has evened out some. I don't loathe the day any more...all that to say if you are one of those people who doesn't like valentine's day, go out buy yourself some of those chocolates that come in a cardboard heart eat two or three until you get the one that tastes terrible. then throw the rest of them at people holding hands. hehe. Don't really do that, Sam. I was just kidding. Anyway, I hope all of you have a great day. Happy valentine's day from good ol' BAM.

WOW! This must have been huge in David's time. They were about to build a temple for God to live in. Isn't it good that we don't have to go to a building or a temple to meet with God. He is every where. When Christ died for us the veil was ripped and we can confidently approach the one true hope. Ephes. 3:12 In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. We @ the summit are in three weeks taking a huge step in following what God has for us. We believe God is calling us to be more than who we are. He is not finished with any of us. Jer. 29:11 promises us that He has a plan for us a plan to prosper us and not to harm us. We are holding on to Him. We are trusting Him. He is our Hope, He is our purpose. We ask you to get on board with us as we move to Christian High School March 6. Be part of the "200"

time 4 disc golf!

This is a picture of me playing disc golf on top of a mountain in Winter Park Colorado. It was great. But hopefully after this saturday there will be many more great disc golf pictures featuring the great disc golf champions of NORTHface student ministry. Remember, we are meeting at the fabuloso Quail Ridge park this saturday at 10am. depending on how many are there, we will either play as one group or shotgun start. A shotgun start is where different groups start on different holes all at the same time. I hope to see you there. We will award discs for several different areas of this round of disc golf. It matters not if you are good or terrible, come out this saturday and have a great time.
