Man o Man o Man! did I have a good time yesterday at The Ice bowl....I am glad I asked....Why yes I did have a great time at the ice bowl. I will post pictures of the ice bowl here soon so check back often. I am waiting until we get to the magic number of comments on this post. A little scary!

So a crazy thing happened today...I was washing dishes (no, thats not the crazy thing) and noticed that the water was not very hot so I went to check on the hot water heater...Well after checking a couple different things realized the pilot light had gone out. I read the instructions and gave it some time to get the gas out of the air then lit the flame again. It says to hold the "little red button" in for thirty seconds after the flame is lit, so I did. Now I gotta tell you that the pilot is tough to get to. So i was already laying down on our gross basement floor by the water heater...So after I let go of the red button so I could get up a rather large flame came bursting out of the heater and engulfed my knoggin like a christmas wrapped melon. I felt like poor ol' daffy duck in the picture above. Long story short my goatee is a little shorter and my eyelashes were curled. yikes. this could have definitely started off to be a really bad day. Goes to show you that you don't have to go far to have your head engulfed in flame.

You can also buy extra discs (mid range, or long distance) for $10 each. These discs usually sell for between 10-15 dollars and they will have our NORTHFACE icebowl logo on them.

Summer Camp 06

Hello Peeps! I have had a couple of people ask me about info on camps so here it goes....
Jr. High Camp will be June 26-30. The cost is the same as Last year...$285. A $50 deposit is due on January 25th. yes that is past but you can still get it to me, but please do it quickly. You can go to www.studentlife.net for more details about what we do at camp and where it will be. Just find your week and location-which is WINDERMERE CONFERENCE CENTER- and see how cool the place is. Our Camp pastor that week will be JR Vasser and Lead Worshiper will be Aaron Keyes.
High School Camp will be July 15-19 at Lookout Mtn. Georgia- that is a Saturday through Wednesday so plan accordingly. High School camp will also be $285. Our camp pastor will be David Rhodes, and the Lead Worshipers will be Spur 58. Your deposit of $50 is due now! Please get this to me ASAP. More info to come about our fund raiser- TRIVIA NIGHT!

SUPER BOWL PARTY....or as my good buddy snoop dawg says "SNOOPERBOWL" partay! hehe. Remember we will provide pepsi and lemonade. Both guys and girls bring some kind of snack.
