WHAT'S THAT WORD???

The other day Sam and I were talking about our liking the dictionary. This may seem wierd to most people but I love having a dictionary with me as much as possible. There are times when I stop a conversation mid stride and have to look up a word because the person I am talking to has used a word that I don't know. So my question today is for Sam. I don't know if sam will read this so I may need your help to figure this one out with out him. My question is...What is that word you told me about the other day after playing disc golf, that means "a person who uses big words". Please let me know what this word is.
